2006 WCLR World Championship Lineman Rodeo

2006 Florida Municipal Electric Association Florida Lineman's Competition
The 2006 Florida Municipal Electric Association (FMEA) hosted its sixth annual competition in Kissimmee, FL on March17-18, 2006. Twenty-four teams and 24 apprentices from Florida and Georgia electric utilities gathered at Kissimmee's Osceola Heritage Park to demonstrate their skills during six timed events.
2006 APPA Public Power Lineworker’s Rodeo
The 6th annual Public Power Lineworker’s Rodeo was held on April 7th-8th, 2006 in Sacramento, CA. It drew 56 teams of journeymen and 69 apprentices from across the country to compete in a series of events demonstrating the safe work practices that Lineworkers must observe. The Sacramento Municipal Utility District hosted the rodeo, in conjunction with APPA’s annual Engineering and Operations Technical Conference.
